LGC RIDE • Your Information

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how LGC RIDE collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our store, contact us, or place an order.

Effective date: August 28, 2026

In short: We use personal information to operate the store, complete orders, provide support, improve services, prevent fraud, and communicate with you. We do not ask customers to send full payment-card details by email.

1. Who controls your information

LGC RIDE is responsible for the personal information described in this policy, except where another organization processes information under its own privacy policy. Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes information when you visit the store or make a purchase to provide its platform and related services.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details: name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and delivery instructions.
  • Order details: products purchased, order history, returns, refunds, warranty requests, serial numbers, and customer-service records.
  • Payment information: transaction status, payment method type, billing details, and limited payment identifiers. Full card information is generally processed by payment providers rather than stored directly by LGC RIDE.
  • Account information: login details, saved preferences, and account activity if you create an account.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, links selected, referral source, approximate location, and interactions with the store.
  • Communications: messages, reviews, survey responses, photographs, video, or documents you voluntarily provide.

3. Sources of information

We collect information directly from you, automatically through the store and related technologies, and from service providers such as Shopify, payment processors, fraud-prevention services, delivery carriers, analytics providers, marketing platforms, and customer-support tools. We may also receive information from business partners when permitted by law.

4. How we use information

  • process payments, fulfill orders, arrange delivery, and provide order updates;
  • manage accounts, returns, refunds, warranty claims, and customer support;
  • verify transactions and protect customers, the store, and service providers from fraud, abuse, security incidents, and illegal activity;
  • operate, troubleshoot, personalize, measure, and improve the store and our services;
  • send service communications and, where permitted, marketing messages;
  • comply with tax, accounting, recordkeeping, legal, regulatory, and dispute-resolution obligations; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and enforce our policies.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The store and its providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember choices, maintain carts, secure checkout, measure performance, understand store usage, and support advertising where enabled. Some technologies are necessary for the store to operate; others may depend on consent or regional privacy settings.

You can manage cookies through your browser and, where displayed, our cookie banner or privacy settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the store from functioning correctly.

6. Shopify and network services

Because this store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify processes personal information to provide storefront, checkout, security, fraud prevention, analytics, and related services. Depending on the store’s enabled settings, Shopify may also process information based on interactions with this and other merchants to improve or personalize services.

Shopify handles information under its own applicable privacy terms. Privacy choices offered by Shopify or the store may vary by location and enabled features.

7. When we disclose information

We may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Shopify and vendors that host, secure, analyze, maintain, or support the store;
  • payment processors, banks, fraud-prevention providers, carriers, fulfillment partners, and warranty or repair providers;
  • advertising, analytics, and marketing providers where those services are used and permitted;
  • professional advisers such as accountants, insurers, auditors, and legal advisers;
  • authorities or other parties when required by law, valid legal process, safety needs, or protection of rights; and
  • a buyer, investor, lender, or successor involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business.

We do not disclose personal information for money in the ordinary meaning of “sell.” Some privacy laws may classify certain advertising or analytics disclosures as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising; where applicable, qualifying customers may have an opt-out right.

8. Marketing choices

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in a marketing message or by contacting us. We may still send non-promotional messages about orders, security, account activity, policy changes, or customer-service requests. Where required, marketing is sent only with appropriate consent.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including order fulfillment, warranties, customer support, tax and accounting records, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by information type and applicable requirements. We may keep limited records after a deletion request where legally permitted or required.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Do not send passwords or full payment-card information by email. Contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

11. International processing

Shopify and other providers may process information in countries different from where you live. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used for international transfers.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • request access to or a copy of personal information;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion or restriction of certain processing;
  • receive certain information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
  • opt out of qualifying sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; and
  • appeal a privacy-request decision where applicable.

Send requests to sale@lgcride.us. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

13. Children’s privacy

The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

14. Third-party links

The store may link to third-party websites, apps, or services. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before providing information.

15. Policy changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in services, technology, legal requirements, or business practices. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the store or other appropriate means.
